澳客网官网首页

The 文理学院 is located on 澳客网官网首页's scenic 澳客网官网首页校园, where the waters of the Saco River flow into the Atlantic Ocean. 在过去的几年里, this confluence of natural resources has inspired students and faculty from around the world.

The liberal 艺术 and sciences require an exploration of both the natural world and the social world, thus we believe in a broad-based mode of inquiry that fosters empathy and understanding. This pursuit of knowledge and caring for the world is at the center of the mission of the 文理学院 and is reflected in our 核心课程.

We are committed to preparing our students for meaningful and rewarding careers as well as life-long learning through an education incorporating 奖学金, 订婚, 和服务.

Our students discover an array of collaborative and interdisciplinary academic experiences built upon a solid foundation in the humanities, 艺术, 自然科学和社会科学. Each of our majors provides a vital balance between the breadth of a foundational education and the depth necessary for advanced knowledge in a chosen field.

We also believe deeply in undergraduate 研究, 创造性表达, 实习, and study abroad as these experiences embody the ideal of a college education. All students in the 文理学院 will have access to such opportunities at the University of New England.

任务

Our unique location on the southern Maine coast and the excellence of our faculty provide the setting for compelling undergraduate degree programs. Select graduate programs support advanced study through online and campus learning.

We pride ourselves on high quality teaching in classes that provide opportunities for frequent, personal student-faculty interactions. We set high standards for our students and ourselves and strive for excellence in teaching, 研究, 奖学金, 和服务.

As a student of 澳客网官网首页's 文理学院, you graduate as an intellectually eng年龄d, 全球意识, 有创意的, and civically and environmentally responsible person who views the liberal 艺术 as a gateway to lifelong inquiry, 专业的应用, 和学习.
